WJW: Volume One

A couple years ago, I had the following conversation with Jason Cargins:

Cargins: Jut, your writing has really improved on WJW. You're a really good writer.

Justin: Thanks, Hog. But let's be honest, I write at about an eighth grade level. (this is a common response I give because not only is it true, but it maintains the appearance of humility)

Cargins: Well, yeah, I'm not saying you're going to write a book. I'm just saying I really enjoy your writing.

Justin: Thanks, Hog. (when I got home, I erased "write a book" off of my bucket list)

Well, it turns out Jason Cargins can eat his heart out. Because for Christmas, my lovely, sweet girlfriend turned WJW into a book. Not only does this hardback book contain a random photograph of the Aggie red/white/blue out on the front cover, but it also includes all the comments from the WJW readers. It's essentially a 380 page journal documenting my thoughts for the past 4 years, and I had some fun moments of nostalgia as I flipped through old posts and comments. Thank you, Jenn, and thanks to you readers for your encouragement and interest. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. WJW wishes you all the best for 2011.

best gift ever? (notwithstanding, of course, my rather conspicuous exclusion from the back cover, an egregious sleight against my person, upon which my refined sense of good taste and decency will prevent me from commenting.)

the public demands a second printing. money is no object.

Did WJW move to another website? Has there been a management change? I'm confused. There hasn't been a new post in approximately 31 years.

America has fought and won two World Wars since the last WJW post.
